The opportunity below would involve Python, C++ and Java. We are looking for candidates that would be \'open\' to working with Python at a top investment bank. This bank is building a world class trading system with Python. They are porting old C++ and Java to Python and need sharp Python programmers. Role summary: A developer to assist with the development and support of electronic trade feeds from ICE, CME, and other sources. Skills: · Strong object oriented development experience in Python, Java, C++, or C#. · Above average knowledge of xml, including schema design, and technologies used to serialize/parse · Nice to have experience: HTTP/FIX protocols, Web services, and object stores · Takes initiative and has a strong sense of ownership · Basic understanding of derivatives. Commodities and/or exchange-traded product knowledge is a big plus. |
